iJoin Release Notes: March 4, 2026

1. Overview

This release adds new plan-level configuration controls for the participant enrollment experience and enhances the Estate Planning Explore module by preventing recommendations for estate planning documents participants have already indicated are in place.

2. Enhancements

2.1 Plan Setting: “Contribution Entry” Toggle

  • What’s new: A plan-level toggle to enable or disable a participant’s ability to enter contribution amounts during enrollment.
  • Benefits: Gives plan administrators control over whether contributions can be updated or not displayed, supporting plan rules and a more consistent participant experience.

2.2 Plan Setting: “Outside Assets” Toggle

  • What’s new: A plan-level toggle to enable or disable a participant’s ability to enter outside assets during enrollment. This setting also controls the monthly income source input reflected in the graph.
  • Benefits: Supports plan rules and compliance needs by allowing you to control whether outside assets are collected and improving consistency in data capture.

2.3 Plan Setting: “Quick Tips” Toggle

  • What’s new: A plan-level toggle to enable or disable Quick Tips in the participant enrollment experience.
  • Benefits: Provides flexibility to streamline enrollment where preferred or to offer additional guidance when beneficial.

2.4 Plan Setting: “Include Spouse” Toggle

  • What’s new: A plan-level toggle to enable or disable the “Include Spouse” option in the participant enrollment experience.
  • Benefits: Aligns the enrollment flow to your plan’s intended experience by controlling whether spouse-related inputs are presented.

3. Fixes

3.1 Estate Planning Explore: Improved Filtering of Document Recommendations

  • Resolved issue: Previously selected estate planning documents (e.g., Financial POA, Healthcare POA, Trust, Will) were not always saved and applied consistently, which could lead to recommending documents a participant already had.
  • What’s improved: Participant selections are now reliably saved and used to filter recommendations, keeping the experience focused on documents still needed and reducing redundant guidance.

4. Configuration Defaults

4.1 Default Values for New Enrollment Settings

  • What’s new: The new configuration items in Experience Setup → Other Enrollment Settings default to YES.
  • Client impact: Maintains a consistent out-of-the-box experience with commonly used enrollment functionality enabled, while allowing plan administrators to disable specific elements for plan rules, compliance, or rollout needs.

Campaign Admin Improvements

What’s New

  • Renamed Global Settings to Campaign Admin for clearer navigation and alignment with current platform structure.
  • Updated user group configuration framework within Campaign Admin.
  • Added foundational elements to support future user‑group‑based features and permissions.

Benefits

  • More intuitive labeling: Helps administrators quickly locate campaign‑related controls.
  • Improved organization: Reduces confusion between global and campaign‑specific settings.
  • Enhanced architecture: Sets the stage for expanded customization and role‑based capabilities.
  • Scalability: Creates a structure for future enhancements without disrupting current workflows.

Auto Increase Functionality Enhancements

Overview: Enhancements have been made to the Auto Increase functionality to ensure participant elections remain aligned with the provisions defined in the iJoin Specifications. These updates strengthen compliance, reduce user error, and create a more guided experience.

What’s New

Maximum Auto Increase Restrictions

  • The system now enforces the maximum allowable auto increase amount based on the plan’s iJoin Specifications.
  • Participants attempting to exceed the permitted maximum will receive a notification, preventing invalid submissions.

Auto‑Populated and Locked Frequency Dates

  • Auto increase frequency dates are now automatically populated according to the plan’s provisions.
  • These dates are uneditable, ensuring consistency with plan rules and eliminating confusion.

Authorization Page Enhancements

  • A new section has been added to the authorization page summarizing the participant’s auto increase selections.
  • Provides clear visibility into what the participant is authorizing before final submission.

Benefits

  • Improved Compliance: Ensures elections adhere to plan‑specific rules without manual oversight.
  • Reduced Errors: Automated limits and locked dates prevent invalid entries.
  • Greater Transparency: Participants can clearly see and confirm their choices.
  • Streamlined Experience: Automated fields reduce friction during enrollment.

Bug Fix: Inconsistent Goal Projections

An issue was identified where, in select circumstances, retirement goal projections shown between Relius/Omni participant web and iJoin were inconsistent. A fix has been deployed to address the root cause, ensuring proper handling of participant auto increase schedules (when applicable).
