How to Generate a Suitability Report

The suitability report provides a bubble chart depiction of participant equity exposure when hypothetically placed within a personalized managed account portfolio versus a target date fund.

  1. Begin from the iJoin Advisor Dashboard
    1. Go to the left hand side navigation of the screen
    2. Select the Reports tab
  2. From the Reports screen:
    1. Click “create new report”
  3. From the Create Report screen
    1. Select the desired report format, either in PDF or Excel
    2. Select “MAP Suitability Report” from the “report type” drop down menu options
    3. Name the report to your preference.
    4. Beside “Plan Selection,” click the “Plans Selected” link to open a subscreen
      1. Select the plans you wish to include
      2. Click save.
    5. Next, determine if the report should be private or public within the portal.
      • Private restricts the report to only be viewable by the user generating it
      • public allows users with access to the portal visibility.
    6. Determine the target date series that the managed account will be compared to
    7. Select the managed account provider
    8. Click “create reports”
  4. Go to the left hand side navigation menu
    1. Select “Activity”
    2. You can check the status of your report (Pending, Successful, Error) in this display
  5. Once the report task shows as “successful” in this section, you may return to the reporting screen to download the new report.
